DASSAULT FALCON 2000/EX/LX/LXS
AIRCRAFT DESCRIPTION
The Falcon 2000 is manufactured by Dassault Aviation, the only executive jet manufacturer that builds military aircraft. The Indian Air Force flies the Mirage 2000 from the Mirage fleet. The aircraft benefits from the manufacturer's military experience. Built to exacting military standards, the Falcon 2000 is reputed to be the finest all round executive jet for its ability to operate on high and hot runaways, climb quickly to a high initial cruise altitude and fly an intercontinental range within very limited operating costs and gaz emission.
The Dassault Falcon 2000 is a wide body, twin-engine business jet powered by two high performance CFE 738 engines manufactured by Honeywell and General Electric. The aircraft can climb to altitudes of 43,000 feet and upwards in just 28 minutes. Certified to fly at 47,000 feet, the Falcon 2000 is an all weather aircraft capable of flying above commercial aircraft, thereby ensuring your flight is faster and quieter.
Also, the Falcon 2000 is equipped with state-of-the-art Collins Proline 4 avionics suite, a digital system that enables the aircraft to land even in Category III low-visibility conditions. Since 1995, over 231 Falcon 2000 are in operation worldwide. The twin engine Falcon 2000 is very popular with corporate houses, business travellers, individual high-end leisure travellers, charter companies and Governments & heads of states around the world. The Falcon 2000 has been the best selling jet in its category for 3 consecutive years (2003, 2004, 2005).
The Dassault Falcon 2000 jet aircraft is superior in almost every single area; especially when you compare it to: Cessna Citation CJ2, Cessna Citation Excel, Hawker 850 XP, Cessna Citation X, Challenger 300 and Gulfstream G 200. Some of the areas that are outstanding are:
- With a maximum ceiling of 47,000ft (nearly 11/2 times the height of Mount Everest with its elevation at 29,029ft), it is only second to the Citation X; thereby flying above turbulent weather and avoiding air traffic, in cruise and 'whisper-soft' flight.
- It has a cruise speed of 864km/h, coupled with a range of 3,000 NM - which translates to around 6 hours of 'non-stop flying'.
- With 6 ft 2 in of headroom, a width of 7 ft 8 in, and cabin length of 26 ft 2 in the passenger seating space offers a passenger cabin volume which is nearly 20% more than its closest rival.
- The baggage space is 24% more than its closest rival and allows you to travel in style.
